From desk of Middle Wing Coordinator:

At Gateway International School, we believe that true education goes beyond the boundaries of textbooks. In middle school, our approach emphasizes experiential learning and co-curricular activities, creating a dynamic environment where students can actively engage with concepts, explore their creativity, and discover their potential.

Through hands-on projects, interactive lessons, and participation in a diverse range of activities, our students not only build a deeper understanding of academic subjects but also develop vital skills like critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving. These experiences foster confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love for learning.

Whether it’s through educational excursions, innovative science experiments, cultural celebrations, or sports and performing arts, each activity is thoughtfully designed to inspire a sense of responsibility and broaden their perspective of the world.
We invite parents to encourage their children to take full advantage of these enriching opportunities. Together, we can nurture well-rounded individuals who are ready to innovate, lead, and contribute meaningfully to society.

ACADEMICS

At GIS, our emphasis lies in providing a learning journey that nurtures the development of intellectual, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual facets. By seamlessly integrating core subjects with essential skills, we aim to instil resilience, ethics, and foresight to emerge not just as empathetic and accountable citizens of India but also as conscientious global participants.

PEDAGOGY

GIS prioritize student-centric education, and with an educational experience that is multidisciplinary, cooperative, and hands-on learning. The curriculum at GIS is crafted to ignite curiosity and foster a lifelong love for learning. It nurtures the students to evolve into confident, responsible, perceptive, and inventive individuals equipped to tackle the demands of tomorrow.

PROJECT BASED LEARNING

At GIS each project begins with a pertinent real-life problem which is led to inquiry to perform research on various aspects of the problem. Research- based analysis and information is gathered and to authenticate the same interaction with the experts take place. To provide student voice and choice the students of GIS collaborate and brainstorm to find possible solutions to the problem. The solution is reviewed, evaluated against the goals of the expedition, and its efficacy tested. A project also brings experts into the classroom, takes the students into the field, and engages the students in the real world of learning. Competencies like mathematical literacy, language proficiency, and subject expertise is bolstered as each Project seamlessly integrates with the curriculum.
